Interior Office Buildouts are featured in a variety of settings – education, recreation and manufacturing and highlighted in the projects gallery.
PITT – Swanson Engineering Manufacturing Assistance Center (MAC)
MAC’s facility at 7800 Susquehanna Street in Pittsburgh is 9,000 sq. feet. In addition to formal classroom space, the MAC’s machining lab has lathes, mills, drill presses and precision surface grinders, as well as HAAS and MAZAK CNC machines. This was new construction in an industrial building setting that provided interior buildout and acoustical ceiling taking into account space requirements for machinery.

YMCA of Homewood-Brushton
YMCA of Homewood-Brushton is a community-focused nonprofit established in 1844 with recreational programs & services for all ages. This renovation project provided a better environment and additional ancillary service options for staff and program participants.
Wilco Construction was involved in a remodeling project with the YMCA that restructured walls, ceiling and doors.
- New Cafeteria – separated eating space from the serving line
- Cloud bulkheads were built
- New Recording Studio – acoustical installation and soundproofing of the space. Due to the nature of the recording studio, special gasketing material was placed around the doors and acoustical insulation was added.

Thread International
THREAD International, a plastics manufacturing company that converts plastic bottles into material used in such things as back packs. Wilco Construction was part of a larger project in the company’s build out. Our component of framing and drywall was coordinated with additional subcontractors. The construction project was on a tight schedule and was completed in 15 Days.
